Newspeak(s)

It is difficult to get the news from poems yet men die miserably every day for lack of what is found there. --- William Carlos Williams

30 Mosques, 30 Days

Ramadan road trip: 30 mosques, 30 US states, 30 days

30 mosques in 30 days
Morning prayer before sunrise
Bowing toward mecca
Driving from town to town
To meet the turbaned and bearded,
The tattooed and baseball capped
Arabs, East Africans, Bosnians, Americans
Fasting yet fulfilled
