Strangely quiet now
Wordless after destruction
Like an abandoned village
Without a hut left standing
Protestors, tents, tarps,
Gas masks and goggles,
Drums and American flags
All ripped away
Zuccotti Park hosed down
Stripped clean.
Nerve center crippled
Yet still we gather
